While at lunch with my grandbaby obsessed Gran…
Cara: Gran, did I tell you that my friend Jessica is having a baby boy?
Gran: Oh! No you didn’t. I knew that she was having a baby, but I didn’t know it was a boy. How exciting!
Cara: Sure is!
Gran: Well their boy can marry your girl!
Cara: But Gran, we don’t have a girl.
Gran: (Raises her eyebrows and looks at me over the rim of her glasses)…but you will.

Ha! That conversation sounds familiar...my grandma says stuff like "well, I guess you don't want your children to meet me" (since she won't be here forever)....if that's not a guilt trip, I don't know what is!! Gotta love their efforts! ;)
Carrie, what are we going to do with our grandmas? Why can't two dogs & two cats just be enough? At least I have an older sister I can redirect the baby talks to. :)
