Ever attempted an at home glass etching project? Never have I ever, but I always seem to stumble across fun ideas like this one from Martha Stewart.

Heaven knows how many thrift store finds I encounter that could use an update of the etching kind. What do you think? Ever done it? Ever wanted to? Do tell!

I haven't ever tried glass etching but my friend has and it was pretty easy to do from what she told me. You should try it!

Me too! Maybe you should try one first and let us know how it goes and what NOT to do :)

I never even thought about it, but that would be a great idea to use those thrift store glasses and make them new. You do it first and we'll follow! lol

Haha! I like your style friends. I'll be the test dummy. Check back soon to see how this one turns out!

It's super easy! For my best friend's birthday last year, I etched silhouettes of one of her favorite Disney characters Figment, the purple dragon from Epcot's Journey Into Imagination, onto plain pint glasses. The hardest part was cutting out the shape of Figment (I couldn't find my Exacto knife), but not counting that part, it took less than 5 minutes to do each glass.

Thanks for the tips Jessie! I'll be sure and have my exacto knife on call. Can't wait to try this one out!
