3 Before & After: A Simply Sherlock Bathroom

With all the hoopla surrounding the new Sherlock Holmes movie that Eric has not taken me to see but hopefully will after reading this post—right, hubs?—I was thrilled to pieces to find this very Sherlock before & after of a bathroom.
With
walls a shade of pink fit for a little girl’s room, this bathroom was screaming for a bit of super sleuth love.
A big thanks to Design Sponge for bringing this fellow to our attention…
Pegs on the beadboard? Love it. Light fixture? I will offer to head up the fan club. The blackout shade on the window…not a huge supporter. I get what they were going for with the dark pub/library theme—heaven knows I love a library—but let’s take that puppy down. Am I alone on this one?

The windo treatmeant does appear a bit odd in thie bathroom. Fantastic remodel overall! Thanks for posting!
I know! I need a bathroom just like this off of my (currently imaginary) library. Must add to the old wish list.
