Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mommas out there! Not only are Eric and I fortunate in having amazing mothers, but more importantly, we have mothers that get along amazingly well. Not only do they play nice, but they also have much in common. From gardening to home improvemnt, both are always looking for ways to spruce up their space. This Mother's Day, you can help your mom to do the same with a few simple gift ideas:

• Help your mom give her yard a pick-me-up. From pulling weeds to building a new flower bed, there are many ways you can help mom increase the curb appeal of her home.

• Wrap up those unfinished projects. Wall left unpainted? Framed photo lurking the the corner just waiting to be hung? Offer to spend an afternoon helping mom complete a few unfinished projects around the house.

• Help your mom declutter her space. All of us, moms included, have personal items that haven't been used or even thought about in years. Offer to spend some time with your mom cleaning out her space. Not only will her home feel more spacious without the clutter, but you might find a few items that you could use! Plus once you donate the unused items, mom will have a nice tax write off. The gift that keeps on giving!

Regardless of how you decide to help mom with her pad, she'll appreciate the extra help and the time you will spend together. Now, go call your Mom and get to work!
