Eric and I love to scope out listings any chance we get. Not only do we like to be familiar with what is on the market, but we love to gather ideas for home remodels, decor, etc. Saturday, during a torrential downpour, we headed out with our friends, Scott and Jessica Doose, to check out a few newly listed homes in their neighborhood. Not only are the Dooses smart homeowners by wanting to know what other homes in the area are selling for, but they like to remain knowledgeable about the market in case their next dream home comes up for sale.
We mainly previewed homes in the Stifft's Station area, and while I am a sucker for just about any craftsman bungalow that I see, one in particular knocked all of our socks off.
Check out the gorgeous hardwoods and dark wood detail. I couldn't get over it. (By the way, pictures do not do this baby justice!)

The original fireplace tiles are a unique detail that definitely set this house apart...
I have to point out the walk in closet in the master. Such spacious storage can be a rare find in older homes.
As always, if you want to check this one out for yourself, give us a shout.
