Taking my lunch break to hunt down fabric for this guy…
We all remember the unfaithfulness that led this furniture friend to a life destined for a little girls room, so this lunchtime brainstorm complete with the fabulous finds at Rosenberry Rooms and Boulevard’s caprese sandwich is particularly satisfying for me…
Snow days are the absolute best. Very rarely do we see white fluffy snow in Arkansas, so we were extra delighted when we woke up this morning to find inches of the stuff gathered outside our window. Prime conditions for a little virtual shopping by a cozy fire.
Check out these whimsically quirky finds from Patina…
1. Cheese plate set: A few companions for my most favorite of dairy products.
2. Wind down after a long day with the help of their frasier fir candle & santika soap.
3. Bluebird corkscrew: A fancy partner in crime for #1’s best friend, vino.
4. With the gingko apron & oven mitt, even if you aren’t a whiz in the kitchen—like, um, some of us—you’ll at least look the part with this snazzy gear.
5. Cheese knife set with a built in cheat sheet. Hostessing doesn’t get much easier than that my friends!

Allow me to introduce the most spectacular before & after online shopping experience around. Chairloom, a rehabilitation station in its own right, pops out amazing creations that leave me scanning my living room in search of overdue updates. My own furniture is in a constant state of terror that I will rip, sand, cut and redo at the drop of a hat, so needless to say, they are not huge fans of the inspiration provided by Chairloom…but you will be!
I can think of no better way to kick off the first full week of 2010 than with fabulous and budget friendly new finds from Crate & Barrel’s little sister, cb2…

For the cutest in vintage inspired finds, you won’t want to miss the fun to be had at Feather Your Nest…
This store makes me want to up and move to a shabby chic cottage of my very own. One that is nestled deep in the part of the woods where squirrels talk and birds perch on shoulders. Eric can come too, but there will be no complaining about having to pour 1% milk from a fish’s mouth.

Yes, I know. We just talked about stockings, but this is worth it. Thanks to Making It Lovely for bringing felting wonder MyPerrenial to my attention…

1. Personalized stockings from Frontgate in contemporary holiday color duo: lime green and cherry red.
2. A twist on tradition, these ice skate stockings from The Great Indoors are sweet and nostalgic.
3. Don’t forget about Fido! Pet stockings from Ballard Designs are adorable and a good way to keep puppy presents away from sniffing snouts.
4. Who needs stocking stuffers with these j
Home decor at reasonable prices is always a fun find, and Nicole Jane Home puts their best foot forward in that department. Be sure to check out their throw pillows, several of which will be magically appearing in my own home in the near future. Funny how that happens.

There is no rhyme or reason why I like these fun little ditties from Gracious Home. They make me happy and work in just about any room. Enjoy!

A few fun favorites from Anthropologie—we need one in Little Rock pronto tonto! Until then, I’ll just play a grownup version of Barbie’s dream house and put together my own virtual living room.
I absolutely need the Recycled Home coffee table book in my life! The Rehabilitation Station crew could pick up quite a few pointers from within its pages. A big hug to Anna Kaye for reminding me how much I love this store!

Read more...When I am feeling ultra girly—and these are usually not the times I’m covered head to toe in paint and saw dust—I always enjoy perusing the dot com pages of Wisteria.
This chair is just too fantastic, but what I am really eyeballing is its cousin of a hall table lurking in the corner…
Such pretty pillows. At $129 a pop, they are definitely out of my price range, but still fun to admire…
Who wouldn’t want a crown of their very own? I can think of few things in life that would cheer up this girl on a dreary day more than royalty on a shelf…
