Here’s were we last left off with the master bath vanity…
Remember the master plan/idea I dreamed up months ago?…
We’re getting there!…Thanks to much help from my wonderful dad.

Now that we know all of the pieces fit together, time to take apart, stain, seal and reassemble. I can hardly wait!
With rain boots, puppy-sized sweaters and the largest batch of chicken and dumplings the South has ever seen, June and I are all set.

No pun or cutesy play on words with this post title. What you see is what you get. Since the weather was so unbelievably wonderful this week, I took a little time to tidy up the ole workshop. With tons of tools and such accumulated over the past few years, moving into a house with a legit workshop was a definite plus, but the time had definitely come to throw a little organization into the mix and, literally, clean up shop.

First, hauling everything into the yard. You don’t realize how much junk you can cram into one space until it’s spread out for all to see. In the spirit of full disclosure, the previous owners did leave their fair share of goodies behind. Just lovely…
After sorting the keepers from soon-to-be trash can food, everything had to find its place. Starting with the wall space and working my way toward the work table, this space actually began to look like a bona fide workshop.

Bring on the 2011 home projects! I’m ready.
Three days—and a pretty penny—later, I’ve been reunited with the love of my life. With my laptop back by my side, I can’t wait to share with you the oodles of home projects/big plans for 2011 I have brewing in this home-crazed mind of mine. Be back soon!
With my laptop (and every DIY, before & after, furniture flip waiting to make their blog appearance) at the doctor until tomorrow and everyone in this fine state brewing over the Sugar Bowl, a visit from my little buddy Dean/Realtor in training is just what we need.
