2 I can see clearly now the rain is gone...

Finally! The raining streak has broken, and hopefully--knock on wood--we will be rewarded for our patience with a beautiful weekend. So why not celebrate the May flowers by spending some time outside.

Two of these Frontgate outdoor dining chairs paired with a ceramic gardening stool from Pottery Barn as a side table would make a cozy spot to unwind.

Yes, I know lanterns have been around forever, but during a trip to Ikea last weekend I found them in a variety of sizes ranging from just $7-$15! A deal like this is too good to pass by, so I picked up a few for my own space.

I am also diggin these outdoor pillows from West Elm. The bright orange pebble print would be a nice contrast to the dark chocolate brown of the wicker chairs.

Planters from Restoration Hardware are the perfect home for a low maintenance herb garden. Plus, kicking your iced tea up a notch with fresh mint from your very own front porch will surely impress.

Finally, what good is a bottle of wine without good friends to help drink it? Contemporary address numbers from Chiasso offer a clean curbside statement, and ensure that your guests will know just where to find you.

A note from the Realtors:

When preparing your home to be listed, be sure to declutter your front porch to maximize curb appeal. It is best to keep outdoor accessories to a minimum while your home is on the market. A couple of chairs or bench with a few pillows will be enough to give an inviting impression.

So I'm a little behind on the blog (our internet has been down). So, sorry for the delayed comment...but TJ Maxx has some great outdoor decor right now! I even saw a similar ceramic gardening stool at the store in North Little Rock. You should go check it out!

Good thinking! I'll have to go check it out. This lovely weather makes me want to spend every second outside.
